Turtles, Monkeys, Sloths and Whales!

From £2,700.00 per person

14 Days

Explore four unique ecosystems covering the most sought-after wildlife in Costa Rica.

When you arrive in San Jose, we’ll meet you as soon as you step off the plane to guide you through customs and immigration.

Once out of the airport, we’ll drive you over to the Hilton Garden Inn overlooking San Jose’s Sabana Park. Rest up, enjoy your stunning view, and get ready for your adventure tomorrow.

After breakfast, we’ll pick you up and drive you east, through the Braulio Carillo National Park, to Guapiles in Limon Province. This is where you’ll meet your boat to Tortuguero on the Caribbean coast.

Accessible only by boat or plane, Tortuguero is one of the most untouched parts of Costa Rica. As you journey there through canals and lagoons, you’ll find yourself immersed and surrounded by pristine rainforest.

In Tortuguero, you’ll at Aninga Lodge for three nights. You’ll spend this time further exploring the canals and jungles, and also the little town of Tortuguero. Wildlife is abundant here, and you could experience toucans, frogs, crocodiles, sloths, monkeys and turtles nesting on the beach.

Moving on from the Caribbean Coast it’s time to head inland to the majestic Arenal Volcano.

Here you’ll stay at the Arenal Kioro hotel for three nights. This hotel comes with stunning volcano views and its own refreshing natural hot springs.

Arenal is the adventure capital of Costa Rica and here we have you flying through the jungle canopy on zip lines, walking on suspended bridges through the rainforests, and taking a special sloth hike.

From the Arenal Kioro, we’ll pick you up and take you to another boat, this time on Lake Arenal, to get you to Monteverde in the heart of the Costa Rican cloud forest.

You’ll spend two nights here, at the Belmar Hotel. From here, you’ll explore the Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve and take a night hike to experience nocturnal creatures.

We saved the best for last.

After your two nights in Monteverde, we’ll take you back to San Jose for your short flight to the Osa Peninsula. This is one of the most biodiverse places on earth.

Here you will stay four nights at El Remanso Lodge, deep in the rainforest.

You’ll feel you’re starring in your own TV documentary here, as the wildlife-spotting opportunities are endless. You’ll see toucans, monkeys, dolphins, whales, hummingbirds, sloths and more.

After a fortnight, it’s time to say goodbye to Costa Rica. Once your time in the Osa is over, you’ll take a short flight back to San Jose to catch an evening flight back home.
