I've lived in Costa Rica for over 7 years with my Costa Rican wife and 2 children.  I have travelled all over Costa Rica, stayed in the hotels, done the tours and drunk the coffee.

This is a great tour for anyone interested in the highlights of Costa Rica. It will take you from coast to coast and north to south.  Expect plenty of wildlife, beautiful scenery, and lots of fun.

You’ll start off by landing in San Jose, where we’ll meet you off the plane and drive you to the nearby Hilton Garden Inn overlooking the capital city’s Sabana Park.

The next day we’ll pick you up early and drive you towards the Caribbean coast to meet your boat to Tortuguero. After a ride through jungle canals, you’ll arrive at the Aninga Lodge for two nights.  This is a great base for exploring the Tortuguero National Park and seeing many animals, including snakes, toucans, frogs, crocodiles, and turtles.

Next, you’ll make your way to the Arenal area, famous for its towering volcano.

You’ll stay at Lomas del Volan for three nights at the foot of the Arenal Volcano. Arenal is pure excitement - the adventure capital of Costa Rica - and you’ll enjoy hanging bridges, a zip line tour, and a cable car ride.

On to the world-famous Monteverde.

You’ll arrive at the Belmar Hotel via boat transfer (something to talk about at dinner!) and stay for three nights. Monteverde is famous for its cloud forest, and you’ll experience it on a hiking tour with a knowledgeable naturalist guide.

By now you will be ready for some beach time.

On this holiday, the beach means Manuel Antonio on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast. Here is where the rainforest meets the sea and your five nights at Si Como No will delight you.

Si Como No is close to the Manuel Antonio National Park and offers close beach access, stunning views, and great service.

Also included while here is a catamaran tour where you’ll head out to sea and meet turtles, dolphins, and (if you’re lucky) whales.

The rest of your time in Manuel Antonio is your own. Explore the national park, go kayaking, or relax poolside or on the beach.

Whatever you do here, you’ll head home refreshed after a private transfer back to the San Jose Airport.
